Wow! What an awesome story! You did such a fantastic job pacing it out. The mystery was so spot-on-Psych-like! I feel like I have to go back and re-read it to catch everything.
My favorite part was Shawn's epiphany. So well plotted! Loved his interactions with both Gus and Karen.

This is most gloriously awesome! Here I though physical whump was unsurpassed in fabulous, and you toss in the most heart-wrenching emotional Gus bitch-slapping! And poor desperate Shawn repeatedly blindsided with a vindictive Lassiter! GAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHH!!!!!!
Not the least of which the, you know, fabulous physical whump!

Poor Gus!!! Poooooor Shawn - he's trying so hard! Its amazingly fun to watch him work so hard at salvaging something after he's truly realized just how important it is. I loved the character growth and development we've seen from him. It came completely naturally and flowed so well that I the reader felt my respect for him grow even more. And yet, he's still our Shawn - which is just lovely!
I love the way the fates have conspired against him and no matter what happens Lassiter and Juliet always manage to show up. Its not looking good and I'm really enjoying this twisted emotional trainwreck (as well as the minor grill-cleaning whumpage) wayyyy more than what's probably considered healthy! Go Luna!!!

XDDDDDDDDDDD Hahaha, omj I know. I'm really having fun writing this episode. Emotionally traumatized Shawn is totally fun to write, because he's very, very passionate about certain things, and seeing him fight for them is really fun. :D

Duuuuuuuuuuuude! This is awesome! and frustrating and sad D= i feel bad for shawn, but then i guess he reeeeeeally has to make up for all the stuff he did =P I loved their first make-up scene ending with 'jerked chicken' XD that was sooo perfect!
I'm loving this episode! I can't wait to read what happens next!

Oh my, I've rarely been as in love with a scene as I am with your young Shawn flashback. The characterization of the little bummed eight-year-old is literally perfect, and completely vivid. Amazing, really.

I love this beginning, Luna, although I'm not surprised at that in the least. It flows so well between the problems with the spas and the problems between Shawn and Gus. The characterizations are absolutely perfect - the dialogue between the friends, the discussions with Juliet and Henry, Lassiter's evil attempt at payback. Some great descriptions as well - could really see everything happening. Excellent!
