But... but.... How did Shawn figure out the timing? Why did it need to be the last possible day of the competition before Walsh tried to kill Carter? Why not Saturday, or Friday? I mean, I kind of understand the logic, but I think Shawn got lucky on the timing. :-P
Not that I'm complaining, mind. That was definitely a fun ending. Bummer 'bout the money, though.

Or rather, I could have put in an explanation for that, but I already was way above the upper word limit, so I left that explanation out and hoped that nobody would notice. Guess I was wrong about that, lol. But I hope it didn't cut down too much on the entertainment.

-Goodness, this is an epic story! How did you come up with this, let alone write it? This is really fantastic! The dialogue was perfect and spot on. It seriously sounded like you took it straight out of an episode and the witty exchanges were priceless between Shawn and Gus. REALLY SUPER DUPER AWESOME JOB.

I'm so glad you like the story so far. Most my stories are epic considering their length. And since the VS has an upper word limit, this story contains a storyline I'd probably have fit into a 80,000 word story in only half as much, lol. Believe me that a lot of pulling hairs and yelling at the computer screen were involved in its making :D And in part it has been a group effort of brainstorming, betaing and others checking the dialogue, which is always my biggest problem. So, to make this short (lol, as if I could...), I'm absolutely thrilled you like it so far, thanks for the great review!
