So you caught me in a mood to actually point out some specific scenes (although the whole thing is awesome!)…

 

“Shawn was hot.” LOL – that is a hilarious (and true!) first line!!

 

“He nodded towards his friend, who let his shoulders drop in relief” – I hate to say, an excellent, subtle, and brief description of their relationship. And then you follow it up so well: “Gus was his best friend, but the brotherly affection wasn’t a one-sided thing, and despite the fact that Shawn knew it was there and was never put off by it, he sometimes forgot that Gus worried about him as much as Shawn himself worried about Gus.” – this just made me happy.

 

Shawn’s vision!! This really, really, really needs to be in an episode sometime – I want to SEE it!!!

 

Lassiter scene is hilarious – with all of them sitting around watching Shawn – brilliant!! And poor Lassie –so confused as to how Juliet works!

 

“The young, devastatingly handsome psychic –" This cracked me up!

 

Vaseline and olive oil?!! Oh, Jenn, you kill me!

 

Gus licked him!!

 

Laughing once again -  “"Dude, I wasn’t lost. We were transported to a mystical world, you don’t just go back to grandma’s at the end of a day when you’re in Endoria." – and at the whole discussion that followed!

 

Nice ending – very mysterious! So much is going on here. I’m loving all of it, Jenn – great work!

First of all: Shawn and Gus in TUNICS!!!!!!!!!!!! =L This makes me giddy with happiness. LOVE the flashback, and how Gus actually likes doing the extra credit, that's so like him. XD

Second of all: OMGTHISFREAKINROCKS!

 Things had been put into perspective for Shawn after everything that had happened, even if he would rather pretend it hadn’t. It scared him to think that Gus would leave, that Gus would even think about leaving. Shawn was the one who left. Gus was supposed to always be there.

Even though things were “normal” again, Shawn was still feeling somewhat cautious in his approach to his best friend. It was getting easier every day, but that thought of Gus leaving would always linger in the back of his mind. It was something he did not enjoy dwelling on, yet it was just another thing he couldn't get his mind to turn off.

What would he do without Gus? GAH, I looooove this soooooo much. The last line especially, because it reminds me of the scene in Scary Sherry when Alice asks Shawn what he would do without Gus, and Shawn can't even answer, can't even think about losing him. I really love that you show that Shawn has always kinda been dependant on Gus and counted him to stay where he was so he could find him again, and that the thought of Gus ever leaving scares him. My favorite paragraph hands down, it is WONDERFUL!!! <3

I love Eliza and how Gus knows her entire track record like Belinda in Black and Tan. HILARIOUS, and Eliza is so awkward/funny in her melodrama.

“So says the man in the skirt,” Shawn said, his lips pursing in only slightly exaggerated disappointment. LMAO!!!!! Funniest line EVER, and so Psychlike. I'm still laughing LOL. =)

And while Shawn hadn't brushed up on his lip reading skills since the high school winter formal debacle of 1994, he was pretty sure the director had just mouthed, "Oh, that can be arranged." First of all, WINTER FORMAL DEBACLE LOL!!! Second of all, I love the suspense and suspicsion that this line creates, it's a great place to end a scene. Love it!

When they were finished making the other extras jealous with an excessive amount of satisfied groans and contented lip smacking... ROFL! I can so imagine them doing this just to annoy the other extras. XD

GUS'S CALVES OMGROFLMAO!!!!! FTW! "And it shows!" LMAO, that's such a girly line, it's SO funny to hear Shawn say that. XDDD I love how you've set the mystery up too, it's very dramatic. I adore the idea of a moive set as the setting more the fic and for that to be the environment to set Shawn lose in. As you can tell by my squeeing, I LOOOOOOOOOOOOVE the episode so far Jenn, can't wait for more tunic!Shawn and the rest of the fic! =D

"Cut!"

"Oh, come on!" Shawn cried, shoulders deflated. The lights flickered back on and he heard another "Cut!" in the distance. Throwing his head back, he let out a loud groan while some of the other movie extras glanced over and raised their eyebrows at him. This didn't change anything as Shawn just continued his ranting.

"I’m never gonna get to use this thing!" he moaned, flapping his plastic laser gun in front of Gus’s face. Gus just rolled his eyes

I nearly DIED here!! I so loved this. I could perfectly see Shawn's boyish excitement coupled with an almost girly exclamation. NAILED IT!!!!

The Lassiter/Juliet scenes are golden..simply golden. You have really captured his snarkiness and her complex girly/tomboy uhhh thing she has going on. I have no idea what I'm saying, but you captured it nonetheless:)

I absolutely can't wait for Friday! Seeing such authentic Shawn and Gus-ness played out in black in white (slap fights and all) is such a great lead in to a new ep. It is a real testament to this wonderful installment that I am just as excited for your next chapter as I am for the second half of the season.
