They really need to have Shawn pretend to be pregnant in an episode. Although I don't think they could do it better than you wrote here. This story was totally awesome. I was laughing so hard the whole time I read it. I can't even tell you my favorite parts because it was pretty much the whole thing. Although Shawn telling Gus he wants an epidural as he's wheeled into surgery was sure one of them.
I also liked Shawn's realization of what solving this case means for the baby. Most people forget he can take things seriously sometimes.
Super great job once again.

Wonderful! I loved the scene in Chief Vick's office...
Author's Response: Thank you so very much! I fully admit that I love picturing the scene in the Chief's office. Even now, whenever I think about it I start giggling madly. *snicker* See! Thank you so much, again, for reading and taking the time to leave me a review. It means so much to me and I appreciate it greatly!

Rofl. Syd. You're still the same awesome butthead.
"I think my water broke." My GOSH I love Shawn. And you, too. :) That had me grinning like no other line this chapter. Definitely your most wintastic line.
“'I thought you had an appendectomy?' 'No, no. Don’t be silly, Jules. It was a normal birth." He ignored Gus’ rolling eyes."
Hehe. That was just VERY rofl-able. Just a quick-witted quip courtesy of Shawn. I love that man. Good Jules in that part too - she's always one to ask in that "wait, what?" way. :P
Love this too:
"He didn’t figure on coming face to face with an infant who had already lost one parent and now would lose the other because of his intervention. It was sobering. The excitement of an hour ago was gone, leaving him feeling washed out."
Very angsty and was a needed dramatic part amongst all the light-hearted dramatics. You're good at picking up on Shawn's personality in that even in the most dramatic of situations they don't seem it - Shawn makes them into light dramatics.
Yesh. So awesome fic, Syd. You get a BIG thumbs up from me.
Author's Response: Whatever,Stray - I love you MORE!!!! No contest even...:):) *hugs* I'm delighted that you had a good time, enjoying both the humor and the angst. You continue to astound me with your perceptiveness and overwhelming awesomeness! Thank you, thank you, a thousand times ....THANK YOU!!!

LOL, what a fantastic story! Shawn is such a freak. Keeping up with the story until the bitter end. That's so like him.
Author's Response: Thanks GB!!! And that IS just like him to keep with it until the very end...and then some!! The weirdo. Oh well, he makes for some funny moments, so I'll give him that:)
