Gotta say - really enjoying this. You've put together a charming, wonderful scenario for my favorite couple and it's something I could totally see Shawn doing. Can't wait for more!

As a writer my biggest fear is that I am not doing the characters justice, particulary charcters as fantastic as these. Quite an easy clue, isn't it? I mean, duh! And you haven't updated this story in, years? It's about one year old now. I checked. Dating from the time that I became a Psych-O. You can say it might have started with this story. That you have caused my friends rolling their eyes and getting sick of all my Psych-references. That you are to blame. Though, I can't really prove it *yet* and I don't know yet if should be considered a bad thing.

Okay.. Seriously? Where do I start?
I know I pointed out a good portion of my favorite parts while we were talking while I read this, but that's not enough. This is so fluffy, yet humorous, that it needs reviews.
Every time we had serious!Shawn, there was an equal amount of funny!Shawn (especially the Derby outfit.. but we both know how fond I am of that one)
And the fact that this story is based on seeing Shawn's feelings through the eyes of others is an amazing touch that I never would've thought of. I would've just had Shawn telling her, or writing her letters, about it. Seeing it from the eyes of others makes it so much more... Real, I guess. That's the only word I can think of to describe the justice you did to the characters.
Jules and Gus in this chapter was an amazing addition. Going back to that terrible place, it was great that she had someone to lean on while she dealt with her emotions. On a bonus note, it expanded on the Gus/Jules friendship that we rarely see. They both care about Shawn so much, I love the scenes where that kind of connects them to each other.
All in all, I couldn't praise this enough if I tried, but this is my attempt at trying. The day you stop writing is the day that PsychFic loses one of it's best story tellers.
