I really enjoyed your short, and I'm very very glad you didn't kill him at the end. Because technically he's breathing, so I can hold on to the hope he's going to manage to survive, against all odds.
You also do a really good job of capturing the characters and making them believable, even in such a horrible situation.
I do have to say though, and it's a pretty small comment that does nothing to detract from the story, that they probably would have already had an ambulance there...(I did say it was small) So, bravo :D <3

Oh... what... wow. Dude! Very well-written one-shot here! You have me all a-flail!!
First off, I love the imagery. You kind of lead us in, just like Juliet remembering, as we piece together what happened. Then seriously loving the whole papa bear mental image there with Henry. And then you have me all worried because I didn't look for any warnings and I'm about to punch something because I think I missed the character death warning and am ready to die over this little one-shot... And then I see that *cheer* It may not be over for our hero! I am a little sad that the story itself is over, but you did wonderfully with it. Again, love, love, love the imagery and the whump and the angst and all the feeeeeels!!
*ahem* Yeah, it's late and I'm a bit on the far side of bed, but I wanted to review and tell you how much I adore this! Definitely a favorite!
Author's Response: I could make it into a longer story but only had enough time to type up something short on my lunch break. Glad you liked it and just so you know I was soooooo close to leaving that last part out and making it a death fic, but they always make me sad so I had to save him. Lol
