Author's Response: Thanks for liking the story. Yes it did allude to that, good catch. Was fun gathering his medical history. A lot of it it doesn't show he went to the hospital for in the series but C'MON! You can't catch something over 120lbs falling with one arm without doing a TON of damage. Stuff like that I just tried to elaborate on.

I just got home from an out of town trip and when I saw you had updated I was so happy. I love that you write longer chapters--and this one was fantastic as are the others. I was reading and thinking please, please someone tell the doctor that Shawn keeps waking up because he is desperately trying to find out about Jules and no one will tell him. (Of course, that could be one of the reasons he is holding on so hard--but it's torture to want them to tell him and they don't. ) That's how good your story is--I think of them as real characters needing to know. I just want some kind soul to tell Shawn that she is alive. It's great tension but ... I am, of course, looking forward to the next chapter again--but what a nice welcome home gift ;^)
