Oh wow. That was... different. But in a good way! The take on the last episode is surprising and original. I very much like the idea to combine the puppy with his relationship with Juliet. Nicely done! Really, it was very good!

Heartbreakingly sad. I thought of this too--although not of the poor puppy dying but of the fact that since the non-happy story line is the one that played out--and only in the happy story line did Shawn and Jules give Lassiter the puppy--that meant that the puppy was still at the shelter. I swear I had tears by the end of this and was right back at the night when I saw the break up. Great work--but I hope there is more that will somehow bring some happiness.

Peazy,

To quote the immortal Dolly Parton from the classic movie "9 to 5":

"You are evil. You know that? EVIL TO THE CORE!!"

This is so SAAAAAAAD!!! You killed the puppy! Guh! And the most horrible part about it is that it's so well written! This little snippet just rips your heart right out of your ribcage, then throws it on the floor and stomps on it until you die. And it is the mark of a GREAT writer that you're totally willing to go there.

Congrats on another amazingly emotionally effecting story!

*goes off to cry in a corner*

Oh my god. You totally went there. You killed little Lassie. For some reason I am reminded of a part on the series Chuck where Morgan picks up the phone, trying to be tough in a room full of bad guys and says, "Shoot the puppy." and all these mobsters and murderers look at him like he is absolutely horrible.

Wow, powerful as always and tear jerking but darn. The poor puppy.
