Ahh, too funny. I love the first chapter, but he idea of Shawn as a pickpocket is quite amusing.

WOW - I didn't see that ending coming at all!!!! Shawn isn't on the train - what's he going to do?! Can't wait!
Once again, excellent details - so many of them. Really fleshes out the story. And so much happens in each chapter - dialogue plus so many interesting points about the various characters. Still going well!!

I am glad that you were surprised by the ending. It was actually one of the first bits I wanted in my story, a lot of the plot was put in motion just to achieve that. I don't know why but I really wanted to kick Shawn off of the train.

Awesome job! Very funny. Reminds me of the movie Silverstreak with Gene Wilder. I loved the line about playing (or not playing) photographic memory I Spy. Fantabulous.

Perfect banter in this chapter! Especially the "who is taking notes" one - so great! I also love the I Spy scene. Shawn would be horrible to play that game with! And poor Gus - flirting with a suspect! Great development - love where you are going.

I would never play I-Spy with Shawn, seriously I have a feeling he would be impossible to beat. I am glad that you think the banter worked well in this chapter, it was a lot of fun to try to get into their heads and think about what they would say.

Author's Response: I am really glad you like it and I do appreciate the nice things you have said about it. I really wanted the story to have a lot of little details, stories, and characters so that it is really not clear what is going on exactly or who is involved, but that it would be interesting to be introduced to all the little bits.

I think that we should start a campaign to introduce the word fabricy to the the world. You can start by teaching it to your students, and I will teach it to mine when I have some of my own.
I am glad that you liked the post it note. Your suggestion of pranking Gus when he was sleeping was great, and I thought that being able to throw in a bit of the meeting he was missing in could be a lot of fun.
I really do like the I-Spy bit as well, I am not that good at banter between Shawn and Gus, but I think it worked really well in that scene.

Haha. Love the Snakes on a Train reference, but Samuel Jackson wasn't in that one was he? I thought that was on a plane... Oh well. Nicely done.
Author's Response: I was actually referencing the Snakes on a Plane movie only...I did not know that there was really a Snakes on a Train movie as well, but I should have guesses, I mean everything has a sequel now. Anyway I am glad that you like it, thank you.
