"The Itsy Bitsy Spider... went up the water spout." Shawn chanted, moving his bloody, raw fingers in the crawling gesture he'd learned in preschool. The heavy chains jingled around his neck painfully with every movement. The collar's piercing wounds hadn't closed, despite his accelerated vampiric healing, leaving a cascade of crimson drips slipping down his neck past his torn shirt collar.
Footsteps approached. He smiled savagely, "Down came the rain and washed the spider out..."
The door finally opened, and the human thief from the gang known as 'Las Arañas' wheeled in a body. It was drained like the others, but beggars couldn't be choosers.
Today however, Adam ventured into the area that his chain would reach. "Out came the sun and dried up all the rain..." Shawn sang before leaping up and grabbing at the man's loose clothing.
"AAAHH!" Adam stumbled back. If he'd been any lighter Shawn would have got him, but the shirt ripped out of the feral vampire's hands. Adam quickly fled out the door.
Shawn pawed over to his meal knowing that the man would be back, and next time he'd be ready for him.
"And the Itsy Bitsy Spider, went up the spout again."
