Yeah, so, I'm watching my DVD's of season one and there's one little thing about Chief Vick and the rest of the SBPD that keeps bugging me.  All the skepticism!  Honestly, Shawn and Gus solve case after case and sometimes it seems like they always have to fight to get put on it.  I understand that it's just to give Shawn an opening to be hilarious in his efforts to get on the case...but I'd really like to see a 'fic wherein Shawn just stands in the middle of the police station and hollers out:

"Dude, seriously!  How many times have I been wrong?"

No other requirements, can be short, can be long, can be funny, can be angsty, can be whatever you want...Shawn just has to get utterly fed up with people other than Lassiter doubting him.
