Summary: Past Featured StoryShawn messes up. And worse, he's not the one paying the consequences for it. Nor is Lassiter, but he wouldn't keep his fat head out of this story either. Apparently they both suffer from COAS (Center of Attention Syndrome).

Great story!  You write Lassiter so well, and I love the way you handle the Lassiter/Shawn interactions.  There are so few really good (great?) stories featuring Lassiter out there.  This one was a joy to read!  Please keep writing these.

Hope your laptop hasn't been commandeered again!  get it back and finish this bad boy!

Hey, this was a great little one-shot.  Nice to see the Henry/Shawn dynamic portrayed from the opposite of the norm - Henry needing Shawn.  That's incredibly rare to see when there's  physical pain involved, usually the standard is to have Henry worrying over Shawn.  It's so common at this point it's almost cliche' so this was a lovely twist.

-"I want you to have your mother's vase."

Brilliant.  I'm off to read more of your work.  Lassiter is my favorite character and I see you have several stories with him in it.  Looking forward to the entertainment!

Ok, where's the rest of this story?  Come on, I'm hooked.  You really should finish it.  Glad you have the guts to take "Psych" in a dark direction, nice change of pace.

So...update coming soon?  I hope?  Please?

You had my interest piqued at the first chapter.  I think this story has great potemtial and I'd love to see you take off with it and follow to conclusion.  My only critique is that I'd like to see longer chapters.  You do such a wonderful job painting a vivid picture in the reader's mind with the slightly longer chapters.  Making the chapters so short breaks the "mood" you've created so well, I hate to see it.  I want to dive into your story head first, and to do this length is a must.

Please keep going and finish this story.  Then idea of Lassie's personal demons driving him to seek solace in a new way is intruguing indeed.  I sense awesome Lassie moments ahead!

This was a great little one-shot. I particularly liked the way you had Lassiter continually remembering "Lassy! Get Down!" in a grief-riddled refrain, as if plagued by the memory.  It makes his remorse palpable.  You did Lassiter's character justice.

Now if only you'd finish "When Mavericks Collide"...

Great set of mini-fics here!  I love stories about the strong friendship/partnership that Lassiter & O'Hara have, and this is just so well-written.  I didn't want it to end.  Any chance you'll write more of these?  I hope so!  I know you ended with a little "death-fic", but since it's for a "100 Themes" thing, you can always just label it "AU" and keep on going.

I REALLY enjoyed reading these, very funny and entertaining.  Please keep on writing fanfics, you're an excellent author.

HELL NO you shouldn't retire!  I love your Lassiter/Juliet one-shots.  We just don't get enough of that super-cool partnership in Psych fanfic.  It all seems to be "Shules" romantic fluff, but let's face it, the professional Lassie & Jules team really makes the show work.  They rock as bad-ass cop partners and as friends.

Keep going with this series, I enjoy them immensely!  I love your writing style.  Keep writing!

(p.s. LOVED "Fractures" as well, by the way)

Oh, you are SO evil...

Know how you can make it up to me?  And everyone else you've totally bummed out with this deathfic?  Well, you're just going to have to write more...

Keep them coming!  I'll bet you a pineapple smoothie that you recently watched the movie "Unbreakable".

Author's Response: Never seen anything of M Night's past Sixth Sense.  So nope, no Unbreakable.  And I will do my best to keep them coming.  VK

Yes, I have a request - keep writing these "One Team One Hundred Scenarios" ficlets.  They're GREAT.  You write Lassiter & O'Hara as a team so well, they are a joy to read.

I especially love your uniquely humorous descriptions, such as:

"Dear Lord, in this tiny space, if he toppled she’d be smooshed like a taxicab beneath Godzilla."

"Control freak Carlton Lassiter was putting his life and --- more importantly --- his car into her hands."

"Whoever had been stupid enough to leave two unmarked, unclaimed bottles of premium OJ in the fridge had just taken one for the team."

And I especially liked this passage:

"Lassiter was old school through and through. She’d seen him take down a perp in between violent flu induced gastrointestinal evacuations. Sadly, the last time being a mixture of Sprite and saltines all over her shoes. Some of the rookies literally teared up the first time they got a Carlton Lassiter semi-frosty glare, not even the full on fire and brimstone variety. The little pansies would shit themselves if Carlton ever decided McNabb could graduate to a level beyond the head detective’s personal bitch and he spread the action more equably."  -That is SO Lassiter, "Old school through and through"!

Another great mini-fic!  I also love the length of these, they're not too short the way most of the "100 Fics" entries usually are.  It allows me to get invested in the story you've so eloquently created.   Please keep them coming!

Author's Response: Thank you so much.  Drag and I have just hashed out the next two.  For which I will be breaking my alternating POV rule.  But I think it'll be worth it.....  Looking forward to your next foray into fic as well....  VK
