I was scouring every Psych-related web site I could find for Shules fic and just happened across a mention on Psych Fic Finders. I know this particular story is one you wrote waaaaaaaaaaaay back before we had the last 2 seasons, but I'm just completely in love with how well you do their romance. I'm wondering though, if you had compiled some sort of "chronology" as some of your stories seem to be part of a series (this one as a pre-Shules becoming Shules, then the engagement that was mentioned at the end, etc.) If you have such a list, would you please tell me where to find it? I'll go check your profile to see if you list a personal/fic web site.
Please write more of this - even if it's not part of the series you started, the canon now is almost as amazing as the beautiful fanon in your Shules world. Thank you!!!

I don't know how many times I've read this (I have it saved to my list of faves) but I am close to tears every time. It is SO beautiful and romantic and just how I would see Shawn being. I think alot must come from what we know of the actor and his statements about wanting to be romantic... It's just perfect. Don't know what you would do for an encore on this, but it would be nice to see what happens next. I think this was much less "sugary" and waaaaaaaaaaaay more loving, pure and simple, than perhaps you give yourself credit for. Bravissimo!

Ok, I was almost ok - just a bit heart pounding-y after reading this (I was waiting until it was semi-done because this was one where I don't think I could have handled the chapter cliffies!) - UNTIL... I went and clicked on that link for the photo manip... OMG Holy Crap! I think I'm going to have nightmares now! THIS is why I don't watch slasher movies. Of course, the ridiculous thing I'm thinking as Henry is going thru the house (and then righteously hacking up that damned table)? Who does he call to help clean all that up? Do police departments have crime scene cleaning crews? And of course, here's hoping poor Shawn at least gets a date with Jules for all his suffering!
Author's Response: Haha!! I LOVE that you were wondering about the cleaning!! I was trying to get that across. It might be "over" but things are literally still a mess. Unfortunately, I think Henry's on his own.. although he'll probably end up with some help. ;)
Yes, Drag's art was FABULOUSLY scary! It's dead on for how I described him, but it's so much scarier actually SEEING it! And this entire story is completely ironic because scary movies TERRIFY me! Completely! I usually have to leave the room because just the sounds terrify me. I read the wiki on "Halloween" for this story, and then I watched a few of the scenes. On youtube (it's hard to find anything very scary when it's tiny on youtube) with the mute on.
