Heyas,

*sigh*  This whole series just makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside.  I love how you write the romance between Shawn and Juliet--you keep their fun flirtiness, and still manage to show that they have very deep feelings for each other.  And you do so well within the confines of the characters.  I love how you show Boyfriend!Shawn, and keep him very much the Shawn we know and love.

Your Juliet is awesome, too.  She's an interesting character in that they play her such a wide-eyed innocent, and yet she's proven again and again to be a competent cop.  You walk that line well.

I've also greatly enjoyed the situations you put them in--compeltely believable.  I wanna see a glow paint dance club on the show now!

wonderful wonderful job...please keep them up!

PS...also, a thousand thank yous for your reviews on my story...I love your comments, and am always happy to hear you've enjoyed what I've written.

Author's Response:

XDDDD Yay! Thank you so much! I'm so glad you like them! :D Oh gosh. Thank you so much! I'm really, really glad it comes across like that, because I love the fun flirty way their relationship works. XDDD Thank you!

Oh, I know. I adore Juliet's character, which probably helps. I love that she can be a girly-girl, and still be a tough, competant cop at the same time. It's very cool. :) It makes me soooooooo giddy that you think I manage to pull it off. :D

XDDDDDDDD YAY! LOL I would kill to see them do something like that. It would be hilarious.

Thank you so so so much. I love your writing so it's fabulous getting such a great review from you! :D

XDDDD You're very welcome, it's absolutely my pleasure. :D

Hello,

*sigh*  There are no words for the mad love I have for this story. It scores on all cylinders for me (hehe, especially now that you have whumpage!)...well written, interesting premise, and actually very believable within the confines of the show.  This would make an excellent storyline for an episode ('cause Jealous!Shawn would be too funny for words).

I love 'fics that explore the angst potential in the relationship between the two Spencers...it's something I wish they would do more on the show.  This is spectacular...you manage to perfectly capture that sense of semi-estrangement that both Shawn and Henry feel towards each other, while still holding true to the fact that ultimately they both care about and love each other and want to fix their relationship (or do I just read too much into their interactions on the show?)

This latest chapter about broke my heart.  Henry's reluctance to even talk to Shawn (understandable from a dad who's been getting the brush off for two weeks), his sudden jumping to conclusions (also understandable, given what Shawn usually acts like), Shawn's bewilderment that his father would actually think something like that of him (also well-played, as Shawn's character has shown again and again that he's not the slacker he pretends to be, but it's an image he works so hard to maintain)...it was excellent.

You also made Nick infinitely more interesting to me (not that he was a bad character before) and I'm anxious to know where you're going with that side-plot.  Is he really a dirty cop?  Undercover?  How dirty, if he is dirty?

Like pretty much everyone else, I look forward to a chapter where Henry comes to very much regret that conversation...bang-up job so far, I can't wait to read more!

Lovies,

Elfgirl

Author's Response: wow, that was all very thought out. I'm so glad you like this story and glad you see so much in my story. I also love the Shawn /Henry relationship and love any scenes with them both in. thank you for the boost in confidence, chapters come quicker that way lol

Heyas,

What a delightful thing to wake up to this morning...awesome job.  Love, love, loved the facial expression conversation, loved Action!Henry, and loved the nice bit at the end.  Good job all around...and you know, I wish they'd show us more instances of Henry and Shawn working in concert rather than just having Henry dole out advice like a fortune cookie...I think they'd be a force to be reckoned with, eh?

Summary:

*EDITED/REVISED ONCE AGAIN*

NEW TAG, LAST CHAPTER.

Who tried to kill Shawn?

Someone cut the brakes on Shawn's bike. Now he's in a coma, and Henry, Jules, Lassiter and Gus are trying to find out who did it.

I LIVE, LIVE LIVE on reviews, so feel free to post whatever you like. I love feedback that can help make me a better writer.

Heyas,

Wow...I normally hate stories in script format, but this is awesome!  Love how everyone is so clearly in character with just the benefit of dialogue, and the storyline is really well done.  Well thought out, good pace, I can see this playing out in my head as I read.  Excellent job.  Just one, tiny, little thing that I would suggest--be sure you're running this through both spellcheck and grammar (I'm sorry!  I'm an English teacher, I notice things like this...I'm not trying to rag on you at all)  For instance...it's 'brake' lines, not 'break'  Just a friendly tip.  I really look forward to more of this.

Author's Response: Thanks for that. Yeah, my program has a spell check but not grammar, so when a word is spelled right but the wring word it misses that, and since most of my writing is done around 1 or 2 AM, I  tend to miss stuff. lol. Thanks for the tip. I'll check it over and post the edits when I get a chance. :-)

Heyas,

*sigh*  That was candy-sweet, sugar-shock inducing lovliness of the best kind.  It made me smile stupidly the whole way through, and I think my 'awwwwww' is still echoing 'round the room.  Loved it...Shawn was so cute, and yes, he would totally put that kind of stamp on an undercover sting.  Definitely need a sequel, though...c'mon, that was a proposal wasn't it?   You gotta tell us if she took it!

Author's Response: Wow! Couldn't ask for a better review than that. I'll see about a sequel. Trouble is...I don't know what would happen after this.......

Summary: Shawn fools the world with his show of being a psychic all because of his photographic memory. He rarely brings the actual fact up, but when a case comes along it both brings it up and hits close to home.

Heyas,

Oh my, I'm intrigued.  And lol...Shawn as a counselor...is it strange that I can actually see that?  Loved the little!Shawn angst, and how you still had him being the cocky little so-and-so we all know and love.  Good job...eager to see more.

Author's Response: Thanks. I'm really glad you liked it. I'll try to add more as soon as I can.

In response to my own LASSIE, MEET GUS challenge (which anyone can write for, BTW!). I figured I should make the first entry, though, to get the ball rolling.

Heyas,

I laughed so hard at this.  Of course Shawn would have been a roadie...I'm firmly convinced there is nothing that boy hasn't done at least once--twice if he liked it.  Love how he keeps harping on Gus about dating, and love Gus's usual resigned exasperation.  Awesome job all around.

Author's Response: That's one reason I love Shawn. I read his resume, and it really does say Ben and Jerry's in Burlington. Woods plays in VT all the time, so of course he'd be a Roadie for them. lol.

Heyas,

Whooohoo!  I LOVE that ep of CSI...God, Tarantino rocks.  Awesome start, no one does the angst/whump quite like you :D  I'm so excited for this...particularly if you use some of the more interesting mind(expletive deleted, but rhymes with duck) aspects of the CSI scenario (oh please tell me the fan and the video feed come into play...please, please, please.

Awesome job!

Author's Response: Oh my.  Thanks.  Your angst story rocks!  This story will be good, but I don't think I can get as close to scary as Tarantino.  That dude is twisted.  I don't want to give to much away, but I think you'll be pleasantly surprised.

Heyas,

Aaaaaaaahhhhhh, creepy.  Love it, I do, absolutely love it.  Gary's a fascinating creation, and I think I see where you're going with this.  It's sad how excited I am for you to get to the main event, really it is.  Awesome set-up, and I'm very interested to see what you do with Gary...just what kind of help does he think Henry needs?  *claps* Can't wait to find out!

Author's Response: Hi Elfgirl.  Glad you enjoyed creepy Gary.  He may get a smidge creepier.  Thanks for the nice review.  I hope you continue to enjoy it.

Heyas,

Oh how do I love this story?  Let me count the ways (and stop trying to write intelligent, witty reviews while coasting on three hours of sleep and enough caffeine to take out a herd of wildebeests...if wildebeests could be taken out by caffeine.)

1.  Love the Shawn and Gus banter, and I'm very, very glad that they both feel something is 'off' about Gary...it's awful when characters in fanfic don't behave the way they do on the shows, and no way Shawn and Gus would miss someone that...wrong.  And the fact that such will make the angst even more delicious when Gary's evil plan comes to fruition absolutely did not influence that remark.  Much.  *evil grin*

2. Henry!  Yay, Henry, the world needs more 'fic where Henry plays a prominent role.  Also love that *he* thinks something is a little off about Gary...bet he'll be regretting the dinner invitation before it's over.  I also really like how you kind of portrayed Henry's kindness towards young!Gary early on in the 'fic.  I mean, I know, a cop finding a victim of abuse isn't going to be an a$$hole (unless they're, you know, an a$$hole), but I greatly enjoy how it nods back to the show in that Henry seems to be a decent, well-liked, all-around upstanding guy to everybody in the world but Shawn.  At least on the surface.  Kudos!

3. Gary.  I love him.  Love, love, loves him.  I think my favorite thing about this chapter was how really?  Gary wasn't doing anything particularly bad...at best, his lines of questioning might have been construed as rather rude, and he abused a bit of his resources in tracking Henry and Gus down.  Yet, there's this whole other level of menace to him.  He's not really DOING anything, but he just gives this impression of instability.  And I love how you 'showed' us that, rather than just having character X go "Gosh, this guys unstable".  Does that make sense?

I can't wait to see what happens at dinner.  And I'm also perversely curious to see if Lassiter talks with Gary, cause really?  That'll be the nail in Shawn's proverbial coffin right there.

*shivers in sheer delight*  God, can't wait for this, can't wait for this.  Think you could torture...er, have your fun with us a little faster?

At least until ants come into play, if ants are indeed coming into play?

Author's Response:

Whoa.  That has got to be the longest review I have ever since and definitely ever received.  I'm honored that you think so much of this that you typed this much.  You rock.

I have to be honest, the Shawn/Gus banter was Josu.  She writes them so well.  I was stuck at the end of chapter  and she helped me out.  I so love my Psychfic friends.

Henry.  Okay I have some weird love thing for Henry.  I'm not sure why.  I think it's the gruff exterior, but you can tell he loves Shawn thing.  I do so love the man.

Gary.  That was definitely my biggest challenge.  Making Gary creepy.  I'm so glad that I actually pulled it off.  I wanted to show the readers his creepiness without totally clueing in the characters.  I needed Henry to invite, wait I can't give too much away.

I have actually up to 10 chapters done, but I love the reviews, so I want to drag it out a little bit.

Okay, I will tell you I didn't do the ants.  I couldn't.  I almost threw up at that part when I saw it.  I hope that doesn't ruin it for you.  I will promise some really cool Henry and Shawn angst.  Hope that makes up for it.

Thanks again for the awesome review!!!!
