I can't find a fic that's both Shules and Lassie/date!
I really really want to read one!!!!
It can be anyone, real or fake. Heck, he can be dating April for all I care!
But c'mon, Lassie really needs a woman!
Anyway, it could be as simple as all 4 of them eating dinner! Just as long as it has both Lassie and Shules, I'll be happy!

Okay, I'm taking a step back into time! I used to write nothing but song-fics (scary huh? :shudders:) Now, these don't have to be actual song-fics, but I challenge you to take these 25 songs and write a Shules one-shot for each. Be creative! (If you don't know these songs you can find them all on youtube!)
I just picked them at random there is a definite theme running through them as I am an avid Shules Shipper, but they're not all happy love songs, so have fun with them. They’re all from the very late 70’s and the 80’s (what can I say. I, like Shawn, am a child of the 80’s and have been feeling nostalgic). 8D
So here we go!
1) Hello by Lionel Richie 2) That's What Friends Are For by Dionne Warwick, Stevie Wonder, et al 3) Every Little Thing She Does Is Magic by The Police 4) Opposites Attract by Paula Abdul 5) Suddenly by Billy Ocean 6) Cherish by Madonna 7) Wake Me Up Before You Go-Go by Wham! 8) Eternal Flame by The Bangles 9) Total Eclipse of the Heart by Bonnie Tyler 10) Love in the First Degree by Bananarama 11) Love is a Battlefield by Pat Benetar 12) Heart of Glass by Blondie 13) Every Rose Has It’s Thorn by Poison 14) I Remember You by Skid Row 15) Is this Love by Whitesnake 16) Jump by Van Halen 17) You Spin Me Round by Dead of Alive 18) Drive by The Cars 19) All Out of Love by Air Supply 20) I Ran by Flock of Seagulls 21) What’s Love Got To Do With It? By Tina Turner 22) (I’ve Had) The Time of My Life by Bill Medley and Jennifer Warnes 23) Sunglasses at Night by Corey Hart 24) Heaven Is A Place on Earth by Belinda Carlisle 25) (I Just) Died in Your Arms Tonight by Cutting Crew

Psych is known for its great lines, and so are these movies. These are the American Film Institute's Top 100 Movie Quotes of All Time, and they are just TIMELESS.
The challenge is this. Choose as many of the 100 quotes as you want and construct one-shots around them. Whether the lines are directly quoted or whether they just serve as a theme to hold the one-shot together, it doesn't matter.
You can do all 100, but that'll be hard. Just choose as many as you think you're capable of. Don't be afraid to find out more about the lines and the movies. Be creative. And have FUN XD

So Shawn and Henry are sitting on the porch in the chairs, both with a bottle of beer. It's been a long week for both of them. Shawn's case was tougher than usual, he hasn't been sleeping great; Henry's back has been acting up so neither has he.
It's sunset, the sun is going down the water is red and orange, a few clouds streaking across the darkening sky above their heads and there's a soft, slightly warm breeze. They're sitting there all quiet and Henry says, "Why did you do it, kid?"
It doesn't need to be something big, or even something heartbreaking or emotional. Maybe Shawn did something on his case that he's not sure he's comfortable with, maybe he just took his dad's keys, maybe they're talking about the past, maybe they're talking about a girl, maybe they’re talking about the future. Whatever. You choose and go from there.
The only requirement is that the fic start with Henry saying, “Why did you do it, kid?” in that setting.

It has to be 1, 12, 123, 1234, 12345, or 123456 words long, and it has to be freaking awesome. It also has to have one of the following pieces of dialogue:
1. Shawn: That's not a knife... That's a knife.
2. Lassiter or Gus: Mother isn't feeling quite herself today
3. Henry: Aye, and a pint of ale to you!
4. Henry: Out of all the people I would have expected to call drunk out of their mind begging for Shawn's help while being chased by a serial killer who thinks you're dating Detective Lassiter, I can honestly say you, Abigail, were not one of them. (or some version of that cuz I just love drunk dials)
