At this point Shawn had been pretty sure he'd stopped speaking out loud. Aloud. Verbally... Pretty su... well, mostly sure. No, pretty mostly for sure because Mr. Surly, Silent, and Stupid chose that moment to cram a rag that tasted like month old 7Up in his mouth.

“Sit there, do your best to shut it, and maybe we'll be so good as to drop a tip with the cops once we're about three states away.”

Well that was nice.

This story will be a series of (relatively short) one-shots of episode tags/missing scenes of the tales on the SBPD. They will be mainly Lassiter- and Juliet-centric but may occasionally feature Chief Vick or Buzz or possibly Henry in their own respective one-shots, or Lassiter or Juliet alone.

Each tag/chapter will most likely be its own standalone story.

Tags will occur in no particular order, updated when a new idea strikes. Spoilers for all seasons.

Tag Four is for "Lassie Did A Bad Bad Thing" and is angsty Lassiter-centric.

Two of them cope, in their own ways. Lassiter becomes obsessed with the dead killer, delving into what secrets may lie behind the killer’s “old tales”. Juliet becomes increasingly aggressive, angry, and fiercely protective of her partner. They have each other to lean on, and become both a tight knot of support and a set of magnets which repel the other.


Shawn is not coping at all.


Even in death, Saul is not done with any of them.
