Awww, CK - I like to see someone worry like this about Lassiter - he never gets that kind of attention. And Ty is the only one he'd really allow give it to him. I love how you make the parallels to Ty's mom, showing how much Ty cares about him and how he's become a parent to him. GREAT descriptions on them - some of your best - really gets across Lassiter' feelings of isolation and then his realization that he doesn't have to be alone. One of the best chapters in this story so far!!!!! :)

Wow. CK. You're plot here and all the little symbolic bits were really phenomenal. I'm really impressed. I should also add that Ty is still as pleasant as ever.
