After the long disclaimer, I didn't know what I was getting. You know what I got, an excellent piece about someone looking for forgiveness and not getting it entirely. I thought it worked well for both Juliet and Shawn. They didn't come off as completely different as you were painting it. They were perfect on the extreme end of what could have happened. Perfect. I loved the last bit about today and tomorrow. I'm so jealous of your writing. Makes me want to be a better writer.

Wow, this was deep. Really deep, but really really good. Amazing job! You really captured the essence of their personalities, and I do agree that I don't think Shawn would ever do something like that. Sequel where he earns her trust back? Please? haha ;P
