Love this story! Poor Shawn, suffering all alone, and then the person you least expect to come in and rescue him does.
I noticed that you have very good characterization. You have Shawn's voice down perfectly; he was wonderfully snarky. Also, Lassie was perfect too, and even though this isn't what you normally see from him, I could totally picture this happening in my mind.
Anywho, I enjoyed it a lot. I'm going to have to check out some of your other stories now...

Lassie is TOTALLY a big softie. :) Loved the story! You did an awesome job with Shawn's POV, totally felt like I was in his head the whole time. And your descriptions of how he was feeling were so awesome that I started feeling a little sick myself just reading it! Oh, and I really like the title too. :)
