Anyhoo... Pardon the disjointedness of the review, I'm a little out of it. lol
LOVE this chapter so much it hurts! All the characters are fabulous in it, so well rounded and hilarious! Shawn helping out Maureen is wonderful and very much him. And Maureen kicks ass! And the itty bitty bit of whump and bonding and... *sighs* Just a fantastic chapter, m'dear. :)
Uh... yeah, that should do it. *scampers off*

Still REALLY like the frame you created for all these installments and each snapshot of life represented by another one of Shawn's jobs ... well done, and terrific. Opening with the "hot Arizona sun" meant that all of a sudden I was right back there again (in memory), and could see exactly how Shawn experienced it. So, nice. Maureen was very real to me too. Great and please keep more chapters coming!

"Sure you can, boy, you earned it."
Shawn shook his head. "Not yet I haven't. You got any carpenter nails and a level, I'm going to fixed that warped board for you."
Maureen smiled widely. "In the kitchen."

Shawn chuckled softly. "I donated it. It was just something I felt like I had to do."
Henry nodded. "Would this something have to do with one of your jobs?"
Shawn scrubbed a hand over his face he knew that one day that was going to come out, he just didn't know it was going to be today. "I will only tell you this once so you better listen." Henry's ears perked at the sudden seriousness of his son's tone. "It was a warm summer day............."
Can't wait to see where this goes! :) :)
I Love this story more Father Son bonding, which we all know they could use on the show but at the same time it would take away the fun of watching them act like MEN. lol

Ah, you always make me so curiouse. And I totally adored Maureen! :) Plus if Shawn thinks Arazonia is hot, try living in Texas lol. Awesome chapter--know which idea your gonna use?
