Gotta love any excuse for whumpage, plot or no plot (although I say this one had just the right amount of plot). Great, creepy story-- I liked it a lot. And for some reason, in my head the artist's voice was Ricardo Montalban's, which is also creepy.

oh my gosh!!! this was just what was I looking for. You always give the greatest stories. I am an avid follower of you...that sounded slightly stalkerish and I apologize. But it was soo good, I nice short whump filled wonderful, and unique work. You really got creative here and brought in some new pain that I havent read before. :) thanks

OMG! This was awesome and highly disturbing and epically Shawn whumpy and totally twisted and suspenseful and creepy and OMG SO CREEPY!!!! Whump by disturbed artist, that is so twisted but also so Psych-like—I could easily see Shawn getting into trouble similar to this on the show. (Though they wouldn't be so daring to do this much whump!)
More than a few times I winced and wanted to cry for Shawn, especially after he was actually suspended from the ceiling and in bone crushing pain! Eep!
Loved that Shawn was still mouthing off to his captor, even after he was in that bone crushing pain. And O.M.G. the end?! With Henry?! The quick Henry-Shawn moments were my favorite, especially Henry demanding that all the "art" be burned, which was a nice echo of Shawn telling the artist that's what he was planning to do once he got free.
GUUUUHHHH and the picture Henry was sent?! :O That was the creepiest part of the entire story. *SHUDDER* I almost think the repercussions of Shawn's kidnapping and the capture of the "artist" are almost worse for Henry, because he *knows* what that creep did to his son (especially since apparently Henry told Shawn the case was going to be easy peasy), so it seems even more horrific for Henry to get the picture instead of Shawn. Because, even in prison, that criminal meant to kill his son, and almost succeeded. He's still alive. O.O IT IS SO CREEPY! (And I'm reading this right before bed. . . . Nightmares?!) Thanks for sharing!

My favorite part of this would have to be the ending, gotta love the feeling, just like a horror movie, where you can't quite be sure if it's really over or not. And if we can't post pointless, mostly plot-less stories every so often, then what would the world be coming too?? There are several one shots in my own collection of writing that I think about posting from time to time, but just haven't ever gotten around to it...and seriously, we never have, and never will, need a reason for some shameless Shawn whump...>:3 <3<3<3

As always- Lassie comes to save the day. That "artist" deserves to rot in prison for all eternity!!! ( Sorry I sound all filled with vengeance, but I'm strongly affected by literature and films.) so happy Lassie came and saved him. Always such a hero:))
