This is very good, particularly for your first one! I'm very impressed. I like the first-person POV. Using first-person with a main character is something that I don't see very often in fabrics. Good choice! I think you pulled it off quite well.

I think you did a good job of keeping Juliet in character and I enjoyed the view into her inner workings. I liked the way you characterized her cats and I think her reactions were spot-on. I also loved the way Lassiter indirectly told her he loved her.
