"Shawn, don't you think we should be working on that case Chief Vick gave us, instead of stopping at a random café when we already ate not even an hour ago?"
"Gus, don't be an albino rhino! Come on, I heard the pineapple smoothies here are awesome!"
Shawn Spencer threw open the door of "The Jack Shack", the newly opened café down the street from the Psych office. Burton Guster, looking exasperated, trudged in after him. They glanced up at the menu behind the desk where a skinny woman who looked to be in her late 30's was standing by the cash register looking bored.
Shawn grinned, and, pointing up at the menu, said brightly, "Gus! Their pineapple smoothies are even CALLED ‘Awesome Pineapple Smoothie's!" Then he turned to the woman working there and said, "Two AWESOME pineapple smoothies, please. Oh, and can I get mine with extra awesome?"
Gus rolled his eyes. The woman behind the counter rang up their smoothies and went to make them. Shawn, rubbing his hands together excitedly, turned to Gus and said, "Oh, come on, Gus, cheer up! Is this about our basketball game earlier? I told you I would make that shot, but no, you didn't think I could make it from by the windo-"
"No, Shawn, this is NOT about that, and no, I'm not gonna pay you that 5 bucks, you still owe me 10 from Tuesday!" They both grabbed their smoothies and went to sit at the booth by the window. Shawn looked as if he was going to interupt, but Gus cut him off, saying, "Shawn, the Chief said this was an important case! Shouldn't we be focusing on that?"
Shawn, after sipping his smoothie, replied, "Ok, first off? These smoothies are delicious! Seriously, have you tried yours?" Gus just continued glaring at him. Shawn continued, "Alright then, second, Tuesday's game was CLEARLY a draw, and third, I already solved the case!" Shawn grinned and continued sipping his awesome smoothie with apparent delight.
Gus, who had just taken a sip of his smoothie and was looking at it with an impressed look on his face, snapped his head up and said, "Wait. You already solved the case?"
Shawn replied, "Of course I solved the case. It was the daughter. She liked to paint, and apparently she was pretty sloppy and didn't bother washing her hands afterwards, because there were clearly some smudges of blue and green paint on the doorknob AND the window that she escaped through. Seriously Gus, you need to have a little more faith in me." Shawn leaned back with a cocky grin on his face, still sipping his delicious smoothie.
Gus looked at him and said, "Ok. You solved the case. Can we just go and tell the Chief now?" Gus stood up, Shawn following him.
"FINE..." Shawn whined, and they made their way back to the blue Echo.
As they got in, Gus turned to Shawn and said, "By the way, Tuesday was NOT a draw, I won by 2 points." Shawn laughed and they drove off to the station.
Story Notes:
Disclaimer: I don't own Shawn or Gus *sniff sniff*
Just a little practice in writing Shawn/Gus interactions. My brother and I want to write an episode for fun, and apparently I'm in charge of the character interactions parts. So yeah :]

What do you think? Was it realistic?
