I am putting a disclaimer here: You will not like this fic. You will not like the way Shawn comes off, and you very well may not like the way Jules comes off, either. I am labeling it as an AU fic because I don't believe the following situation WOULD happen, but I do believe it COULD happen because it COULD happen to any couple. There is no such thing as a person or a relationship that is invulnerable to infidelity. I am writing this not because I think it WILL happen and not because I think Shawn would ever cheat or ever has cheated in the past, but because I want to see what would happen if it DID happen. There's a difference, and I hope you understand it. IF the characters were in this situation, this is how I believe they WOULD react.

I am also not interested in judging one way or the other, so please don't accuse me of siding one way or the other. I am not putting any of my personal beliefs or morals into this story. I am not suggesting how anyone should react or what anyone should do. I am simply reporting what happens and what is said in THIS PARTICULAR CASE. That is all. This entire fic was just an experiment for me to try to do something different with these characters. I kept the situation and the characters as IC as I could. I am not interested in debating the morality of anything that happens in this fic, because as I said I don't nesessarily like it or agree with it either. If you WANT me to defend my reasonings, I can. But start from the premise that no one is perfect. Everyone can mess up, even the Shawn we know and love. Everyone is capable of hurting the ones they love. I've seen in happen relationships you would have thought we perfect. 

Anyway, all that aside...here it is.
