A response to the DINNER challenge

It was a curse- it had to be.  He should have known reconnecting with his father would be a painful- nay, agonizing experience.

But who could have guessed it would be deadly?

Head Detective Carlton Lassiter thought Shawn's request seemed innocent enough—"Give me a ride in your car."

Life would still be simple and good if his answer had just been "NO."

And now he's stuck in the middle of nowhere with one injured and extremely annoying fake psychic pestering him with no hope of rescue any time soon.  That is, if they can manage to make it out alive...without killing each other first.

And YES, Shawn gets whumped something fierce.  He'll never know what hit him.

This one story is answering four challenges at once.  I'm nothing if not ambitious.

Exactly what the title says … though maybe not what you might expect.

Juliet and Shawn's life together is tragically cut short, when Shawn dies in a motorcycle crash leaving Juliet devastated....

Six months later Juliet is on the verge of quitting the force, and there is a serial killer loose in Santa Barbara. Then the possibility that Shawn was indeed alive surfaces, sending Juliet's hopes soaring, and her fixing a broken friendship to search for Shawn.

Shawn's past is completely blank to him, and believes he's someone else entirely.  When the truth is revealed that he's actually Shawn Spencer it sends him spiraling.  Soon he has to try to remember not only his best friend, and his wife, but also the danger he's in before its too late...

Well the summary is decent at best the story is hopefully better then this summary is.  And I know its ANOTHER amnesia story but I love the idea of this and well I had to write and just to warn everyone that may read this, its FREAKING LONG almost a novel lol so I hope if you do want to read this you are in for a very long LONG story lol.
