Aw, look at this poor little profile, it hasn't been updated in years. Well, it's 2018 and time to change that...
My name is Miranda, I'm 21, and I live in Texas. You might see me referred to as Mira, insert, or around the web as one of my other usernames: Zena-Xina or omgubler
So, I've been watching Psych since I was in 8th grade (2011) and have not stopped loving it since then. While I'm in multiple other fandoms (Criminal Minds, Supernatural, Doctor Who, Sherlock, Leverage, The Listener, Monk, etc...) I think the Psych fanfics are my favorite. It's hard to explain, why, exactly, but there's just a whole 'nother level of community within the Psych fandom that you don't see in a lot of other ones. SO many amazing writers as well.
Going through my stories you will find a major difference in quality. Mostly because I wrote a lot of them in late middle school and high school. I'm in college right now, so I'd like to think I have improved, somewhat.
Also, I would just like to place a permanent thank you right here to my writing buddy Koohii Kappu for being the best buddy one could ask for.

For one I love "innocent bystander" type of Shawn whump fics XD
My favorite part was probably when Shawn moved his foot to test the shooter XD
Oh, and "it was the warehouse". That made me laugh XD
Also, I love the imagery of his blood shoe being the first thing they find.
But, uh, yeahhhh. Sorry I don't remember too many details to specifically remember on but I really love this fic.
Only Shawn could injure himself whilst searching a cordoned off office building with a faction of S.B.P.D. officers.

I feel like there's a small chance I read this in the past and a larger chance I never commented on it. Just wanted to say I loved it. I think the story itself is pretty unique (Shawn reacting to an unknown allergy that Lassie specifically triggered). I also love Henry being all calm and taking care of the situation even though Shawn could die so easily and even if it was practically routine. And then Lassie feeling super guilty and stealing back the smoothie? FANTASTIC.

THIS. FIC. IS. AWESOME.
I really don't see too many fics with both Shawn and Jules captured together so that was refreshing to read. I think everyone was really in character as well.
I loved how passionate Lassie was about finding his partner and of course Henry and Gus we're as willing and stubborn as ever.
The opening scene with Shawn being kidnapped as a child and saving himself is something I would totally see him doing.
I found all of the little mind games and the manipulations that McCoy played on them super fascinating as well.
And of course I'm always a sucker for Shawn whump.

Wait, so Shawn had been held for months? Again, I wonder if there is any kind of prequel but then again this story might just be focusing on the effect/ recovery but it still makes me really want to read about what happened.
Also, I love Gus being there for him and holding him as Shawn sobbed, racked by whatever hell he had been though. Obviously he was not himself but Gus was there for him and that's what mattered.
