Aw, look at this poor little profile, it hasn't been updated in years. Well, it's 2018 and time to change that...
My name is Miranda, I'm 21, and I live in Texas. You might see me referred to as Mira, insert, or around the web as one of my other usernames: Zena-Xina or omgubler
So, I've been watching Psych since I was in 8th grade (2011) and have not stopped loving it since then. While I'm in multiple other fandoms (Criminal Minds, Supernatural, Doctor Who, Sherlock, Leverage, The Listener, Monk, etc...) I think the Psych fanfics are my favorite. It's hard to explain, why, exactly, but there's just a whole 'nother level of community within the Psych fandom that you don't see in a lot of other ones. SO many amazing writers as well.
Going through my stories you will find a major difference in quality. Mostly because I wrote a lot of them in late middle school and high school. I'm in college right now, so I'd like to think I have improved, somewhat.
Also, I would just like to place a permanent thank you right here to my writing buddy Koohii Kappu for being the best buddy one could ask for.

Woooow this is so amazingly written. I really like how you had Gus find out instead of it being hidden and had him tell Shawn that he would have missed him. Shawn's thoughts are scarily spot on for someone who contemplating/attempting suicide... almost too spot on.
You wrote them both really well.

Shawn is investigating the murder of a highly respected psychiatrist when some odd behavior and a near death experience leave him shaken.
And the fact that he finds himself face to face with the murderer doesn't help the situation.

Okay I have to say that I love these earlier fics where Shawn was, on the show, a bit of a know-it-all asshole at times XD His blunt "It wasn't the secretary" reminded me of that XD The image of Shawn, especially in fics, definitely changes over the years so it's really cool to see fics from back before his character development lol.

Awww, that's a cute ending! I REALLY like this one. It's unique it terms of plot and whumping, which is always appreciated. Kind of reminds me of an episode of Criminal Minds, with the guy who's completely delusional and crazy. And then of course his name being Reid XD

Lassie punching Shawn because he thought he was with his wife? Priceless.
But then Shawn was actually super thoughtful and it was all a misunderstanding? Oof.
And Lassie coming to Henry for divorce advice? Yowza XD
Not but yeah I like this whole scenario.
In the midst of a nightmarish wait, with an agonizing decision hanging over his head, Henry learns some truths about his son he never imagined. It's not the life he wanted for Shawn, it's not the life he envisioned...but has it really been a waste?

The whole angle of Shawn being forced to relive a childhood tramua and whatnot and of course there's always Papa Bear Henry.
