Aw, look at this poor little profile, it hasn't been updated in years. Well, it's 2018 and time to change that...
My name is Miranda, I'm 21, and I live in Texas. You might see me referred to as Mira, insert, or around the web as one of my other usernames: Zena-Xina or omgubler
So, I've been watching Psych since I was in 8th grade (2011) and have not stopped loving it since then. While I'm in multiple other fandoms (Criminal Minds, Supernatural, Doctor Who, Sherlock, Leverage, The Listener, Monk, etc...) I think the Psych fanfics are my favorite. It's hard to explain, why, exactly, but there's just a whole 'nother level of community within the Psych fandom that you don't see in a lot of other ones. SO many amazing writers as well.
Going through my stories you will find a major difference in quality. Mostly because I wrote a lot of them in late middle school and high school. I'm in college right now, so I'd like to think I have improved, somewhat.
Also, I would just like to place a permanent thank you right here to my writing buddy Koohii Kappu for being the best buddy one could ask for.

Answer to Stray's challenge The Adventures of Young Shawn and the Santa Barbara Police Department
The challenge was the following:
We all know Shawn hung out at the precinct when he was a kid. What I want from you is more of young Shawn and the cops of the Santa Barbara Police Department during Henry’s time as a cop. Shawn can be anywhere form a few days old to twenty-one just as long as there’s interaction between him and his Henry's cop buddies. Let Shawn raise a little hell at the precinct too.

Okay I know I read this story several years back because of the reviews but I don't really remember doing so. So, it was nice to reread it anew.
I love this so much. I mean you have the characters all down so perfectly.
I just love the story so much too, Henry and Shawn being on the run, Henry taking care of Shawn's injuries, those creepy bad guys, what almost happened to Shawn at the station, him learning how to deal with it, Shawn realizing that even if they didn't talk about their feelings, they were still there, the lion cub!! I just LOVE IT.
And what is it about bad guys wanting to molest Shawn??!?! I was laughing at your author notes XD
No but yeah I love this. The way you showed that one bad guy doubting his hunting pals and being the one to save them and letting them go and all that. I mean even your side characters had character development XD
But, uh, yeah. As always, you're amazing. As was this.
This is a response to LittleFairy's challenge "Bandage's and Plaster", Gus' blog on Psych network, cataloging the multitude of injuries that have occurred over the years that Gus has known Shawn.
This is the notorious "Golf Cart Incident" where Shawn, somehow, managed to lose all feeling in his left heel. Remind me not to go golfing with a psychic anytime soon.

So I completely misread the word count. I thought it said this fic was 100K words long instead of 10K. So much for my weekend binge.
Anyway I find it hilarious that reading fics as come to make me expect that Shawn was going to poisoned with the Ritlin from Jessie or attacked by the nurse it something.
This is a pretty neat fic. I love the part where Lassie's mentor said Shawn was the best he had ever seen. I can visualize that seen sooo well lol.
It's interesting how you had Shawn stick to the academy. I think you really nailed Henry and Shawn's relationship as well.
