OOO! I love fall too because I'm a geek and like getting new books and starting new classes, but also because of football season, pumpkins, giant leaf piles, warm drinks, Halloween, and of course my birthday. Best time of the year! Thanks for the story.

I'm glad you wrote this! I was so frustrated when the finale just ended without Juliet getting to wear the ring. It was perfect with the references to the crawly snake and the DS and stuff too.

Great job! You had me sucked in (no pun intended) the whole way through. I had to read it all in one sitting. Looking forward to reading the sequels.

Hi. I think its a great idea and you have a real great start.

My suggestions would be 1) put spaces between your paragraphs. It makes it easier to read. 2) Spend some more time setting up your characters and your scenes, especially since Rylee is a character we haven't met before. I think maybe right after the body falls from the locker is a good spot to take a step away from the narrative and set up your character. Who is Rylee and what do we need to know about her to understand how she might react to being caught with a dead body? How does she relate to other characters in the story, particularly the ones we do know like Shawn and Juliet? Does she get along with them, etc? 3)- this is really just my preference - the name "Rylee" just doesn't sound like a name that Juliet would pick for her daughter. "Rylee" is cute and trendy, but Juliet would probably pick something more traditional and classy...then Shawn would turn it into a goofy nickname that only he would call her (which you did do with "Ryles"). 4) I'm not sure Rylee would be tried as an adult in court if she is only 17. Make her 18, though, and that problem is solved.

Anyway, its awesome that you are bringing back Hornstock! I hope you continue. I will read it.
